Delete your account

How to delete your account in the app

1. Open Loopsee and sign in.
2. On the home screen, tap Profile to open your Private Profile.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the Private Profile screen and tap Delete account.
4. Review what will be deleted, tick “I understand that my account cannot be restored.” and tap Delete permanently.

What gets deleted

Deletion takes effect immediately. The following is permanently deleted:

• your account, user ID and account age;
• your name, photo and private introduction;
• your profile and everything Loopsee has learned about your preferences;
• your Loops, including active ones, which are closed and removed;
• your matches;
• your feedback and trust history;
• your push notification tokens.

Past conversations

People you previously matched with may keep an anonymised, read-only version of your past conversations. Your name, photo and profile are removed from these conversations – you appear only as “Deleted Loopsee user”, and no new messages can be sent.

Returning later

Deletion cannot be undone. You can register again later with the same email address, but this creates a completely new account – nothing from the deleted account is restored.

What may be retained

Apart from the anonymised conversation copies described above, we may retain limited technical records (such as server logs) for a short period for security and troubleshooting, and information we are legally required to keep. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

If you cannot access the app

Email hello@getloopsee.com from the email address linked to your Loopsee account and we will process the deletion for you.
